The tragedy occurred on the road between Kruszyn and Kraśnik Górny.
The emergency services received a report that a man riding a quad bike had overturned and was unconscious.
Firefighters, a medical rescue team and the police were dispatched to the scene.
Unfortunately, the accident proved fatal.

Findings by the Bolesławiec police:
A 48-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, driving a buggy on a forest road, lost control of the vehicle for undetermined reasons and hit a tree. The driver died at the scene. The 34-year-old passenger, who sustained general bruising, was taken to hospital. The people were travelling without helmets and seat belts.
