The incident occurred on Sunday (28 March) at approximately 12:30 p.m., at the intersection of Łąkowa Street and Orzeszkowej Street, near the church. The woman driving the Mercedes was travelling along Orzeszkowej Street from the direction of Staszica Street. The Skoda Octavia was travelling along Łąkowa Street towards the town centre. The two cars collided at the intersection. The force of the impact was so great that the Mercedes overturned onto its side and came to a stop on the nearby pavement. The woman driving the Mercedes was taken to hospital. Two men travelling in the Skoda were also taken to hospital. Police are investigating the causes of the accident.
