Who does it help?
The Wojewódzki Szpital dla Nerwowo i Psychicznie Chorych w Bolesławcu participates in the pilot programme for mental health centres as part of the National Mental Health Protection Programme. The Mental Health Centre provides psychiatric care for the adult population of Powiat Bolesławiecki and Powiat Lwówecki.
The centre offers psychiatric services in the form of an inpatient ward, a day ward, a community treatment team, a mental health clinic together with a registration and coordination point and emergency assistance in the admissions department. Medical services provided by the Mental Health Centre are free of charge under a contract with the NFZ.
Registration and Coordination Point – PZK
Specialists are on duty at the PZK on working days, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.. If you are seeking help for yourself or someone close to you, you can come to the PZK without a referral or prior registration. A PZK specialist will assess your health needs and propose a support plan.

Who does it help?
Children and adolescents up to 21 years of age, provided they are continuing their school education, as well as their parents and legal guardians.
The centre:
CONTACT US IF:
- you are concerned about your child’s behaviour and wonder whether it is consistent with developmental norms;
- you notice risky behaviour in your child, such as self-harm, running away from home and/or school, suicide attempts, or restricting food intake;
- you want to support your child through difficulties they are experiencing at school, among peers or at home,
- you recognise the need to work together on relationships in your family, or your child expresses such a need without giving a reason.
The centre’s team of psychologists and psychotherapists offers:
- comprehensive psychological assessment;
- individual, group and family psychotherapy;
- psychological and community support.
Services provided by the centre are free of charge under an NFZ contract.
