Construction of KFC Bolesławiec began at the start of December 2021, shortly after the opening of the McDonlad's restaurant. At that time, the construction site was fenced off and earthworks began. A month after the start, the walls of the restaurant building were already visible at the construction site.
KFC is being built on Cieszkowskiego Street, behind the Lotos petrol station, on a former parking lot. Construction will certainly be completed in 2022. This means that there will be two competing fast-food restaurants by the Lech Kaczyński Roundabout: KFC and the already operating McDolnad's.
