The government plans to introduce, from 1 March 2022, a requirement to be vaccinated and to possess a COVID certificate for uniformed services, medical workers and teachers.

“Following the example of Germany and Austria, from 1 March we will want to introduce a vaccination requirement for three groups. The first group is medical workers, the second is teachers, and the third is the uniformed services,” Niedzielski said during a press conference. “March is the period by which these vaccinations should be completed,” he added. The minister stressed that after 1 March, possessing a certificate confirming vaccination would be necessary to “meet the employment requirements” in the professional groups listed.
