Radio Plus hosted Adam Niedzielski, head of the Ministry of Health in the United Right government, on Monday morning. The minister admitted that Poland is in a difficult situation:
The average number of infections is 23,000. Hospitals are full. The emergence of an element that could cause an acceleration is dangerous. From my point of view, the emergence of this new risk is not a situation that can be ignored.
What measures does the Ministry of Health intend to take?
Adam Niedzielski: “We will want to quarantine people arriving from countries where Omicron is present. A test will exempt them from this quarantine.”
He also announced restrictions:
We are considering minor measures that would serve as a clear alert, indicating that the risk is growing because a new threat has appeared in our surroundings. These could include, for example, limits in shopping malls.
The government will certainly not close schools, however. More on the Radio Plus website. What do you think? We invite you to join the discussion.
