During Wednesday’s meeting of the Bolesławiec City Council, Mayor Piotr Roman informed councillors that construction work was underway on the salt graduation tower in Bolesławiec. He also said that a supply of brine had been secured for the entire coming year.
When will the salt graduation tower open?
The salt graduation tower is scheduled to open on New Year’s Day. “At a time of rising illness rates and so-called long COVID, it is undoubtedly extremely important to use such a facility properly,” added P. Roman.
Let us recall. We first reported on the matter this summer. At the time, we wrote:
Great news for those who, for various reasons, will not be going to the seaside this summer to breathe in wonderfully healthy air. A salt graduation tower will be built in Bolesławiec, which will certainly help both people suffering, for example, from thyroid diseases and those who have overcome COVID-19.
About 20 people will be able to use the facility at one time. What is more, visitors will be able to quench their thirst at the tower with healthy Bolesławiec spring water.
Where is it being built?
As many as three locations were considered. Ultimately, the choice fell on the park grounds, right next to the building of the Municipal Public Library – Knowledge Centre.
