To encourage people to get vaccinated against COVID-19, the Ministry of Health announces various competitions with prizes. One of them is the “Growing Resilience” competition.

The municipality with the highest increase in the number of vaccinated residents in a given county will receive one million złoty to fight coronavirus. The municipality that takes second place will receive half a million. The municipality in third place will receive PLN 250,000.

The competition winners may spend the prizes on any purposes related to combating COVID-19

In Bolesławiec County, one million złoty will go to Gmina Osiecznica (vaccination increase rate – 7.958). Half a million – Gmina Warta Bolesławiecka (vaccination increase rate – 7.553). PLN 250,000 will go to Gmina Nowogrodziec (vaccination increase rate – 6.212).

Legnica County: 1st place: Gmina Krotoszyce (8.422), 2nd place: Gmina Legnickie Pole (5.513), 3rd place: Gmina Kunice (5.362).

Lwówek County: 1st place: Gmina Wleń (7.570), 2nd place: Gmina Gryfów Śląski (6.987), 3rd place: Gmina Lwówek Śląski (6.918).

Lubań County: 1st place: Gmina Świeradów (7.910), 2nd place: Gmina Platerówka (7.428). 3rd place: Gmina Leśna (6.645).

Zgorzelec County: 1st place: Gmina Zawidów (9.463), 2nd place: Gmina Sulików (8.524), 3rd place: Gmina (w) Zgorzelec (8.210).

Złotoryja County: 1st place: Gmina Wojcieszów (7.699), 2nd place: Gmina Zagrodno (6.550), 3rd place: Gmina Świerzawa (6.547).
