On Sunday (14 November), the Brzeźnik footballers, competing in Group III of the Jelenia Góra A-class, defeated WKS Żarki Średnie 5:0 away from home. After this victory, it became clear who the autumn champions of this group were. In 14 matches of the autumn round, Brzeźnik collected 37 points and won as many as 12 times. The team drew once and lost once. Their goal difference was 57–20.
If Daniel Padewski’s players maintain this form in the spring as well, they will celebrate promotion to the regional league at the end of the 2021/2022 season. It will not be easy, however. Just behind the team from Brzeźnik, in second place in the table, are KS Stare Jaroszowice. The runners-up are only one point behind the leaders...

This is a great success for this team. Progress can be seen month by month, in the table and in the numbers. It turns out that I have assembled a great group of players. At this point, there is obviously one goal: to hold on to first place, which would mean promotion to the regional league. Thanks to everyone, especially Józef Stempak, who is a striker and has scored a dozen or so goals. He is also the club president and the person who handles everything...
Brzeźnik’s coach does not hide the fact that the club could use someone else to help—someone who could serve as the team manager.
