Students of the Stanisław Wyspiański Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury in Bolesławiec took part in the 17th Provincial Art Competition on ecological themes, “There Is Only One Earth.” This year’s edition was titled “Labyrinths of the Underwater World.” Martyna Krawczyk won third prize in the competition, while honorable mentions went to: Karolina Domańska, Mateusz Nawrocki and Patrycja Domańska. Works by Dorota Szwed, Jakub Leśniewski, Małgorzata Narecka, Patrycja Midera, Diana Łukasik and Iza Kalenik were also selected for the post-competition exhibition.
The works will be displayed at the MDK Śródmieście Gallery in Wrocław. The opening and ceremonial award presentation will take place on March 5 this year. The recognized students attend classes led by Joanna Mysłek-Michnowska and Katarzyna Sas.
