On Saturday (27 February), TOP Bolesławiec volleyball players hosted ULKS Ogień Żmigród. Once again, the Bolesławiec team played the match with a depleted squad. The lack of players and unforced errors contributed to our volleyball players’ fifth consecutive defeat. The first set was even and exceptionally hard-fought. The point-for-point battle continued from 23:23 to 31:31. TOP won the opening set 33:31.

The second set was also even. The visitors led by one point at times and by two at others. However, the set ended with a 25:21 win for the visiting team. Bolesławiec lost the third set 20:25. In the fourth set, our volleyball players came close to taking the match to a tie-break. Unfortunately, the visitors came out on top again and decided the match by winning the fourth set 25:23 (the match ended 3–1). TOP played a poor match. Unforced errors and the lack of substitutes determined the defeat. Bolesławiec are sixth in the competition table. Next Saturday (6 March), our volleyball players will play an away match against Pogoń Góra.
