Protests against the policies of the ruling party and the ruling of the Constitutional Tribunal are taking place across the country. In practice, the Tribunal recognized the supremacy of Polish law over European Union law. A significant part of the opposition considered this another step toward Polexit. The new-old leader of Platforma Obywatelska, Donald Tusk, called for the protest on Twitter:
We must save Poland; no one will do it for us. We are meeting next Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at Castle Square in Warsaw. Poland is worth our commitment, and our future is worth it!
