In Bolesławiec’s market square, members of the Bolesławiec Women's Strike appealed to residents to protest together with them against the decisions of Julia Przyłębska’s Tribunal.
“As the Bolesławiec Women's Strike, we have issued a statement in connection with the decision of the Constitutional Tribunal,” welcomed everyone Kinga Gęsicka-Biały. “We, the residents of Bolesławiec and the surrounding area, firmly protest against taking Poland out of the European Union. The actions of Mrs. Przyłębska’s pseudo-Tribunal, undoubtedly carried out on the orders of Jarosław Kaczyński, have de facto taken Poland out of the Union. By declaring that Poland will not respect the treaties it has signed if doing so is not convenient for the ruling party. We are placing ourselves outside the European community,” said Gęsicka-Biały.
“Those in power are playing an irresponsible game with the fate of Poland and Poles,” added Artur Kuczyński. “A game whose sole purpose is to gain power and enable the continued unlawful plundering of taxpayers. The British know best how such a game ends. That is why we invite everyone who cares about our country’s unity with the European Union to come to the market square on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. Let us tell those in power clearly and unequivocally: we are staying, you leave, because the Union is us.
“Our voice matters, pressure makes a difference,” declared Dariusz Sas. “Demonstrations, marches and rallies on this issue will be organized across the country that day. Let us not allow Kaczyński to give Poland to Putin as a gift. Let us not remain silent when our future and that of our children is at risk. We would like everyone who comes to our gathering to sign our official statement,” Dariusz Sas appealed.
The demonstration will take place on Sunday, October 10, at 6:00 p.m. in Bolesławiec’s Market Square.
