In the fourth-round match of the Regional Polish Cup, Karkonosze Jelenia Góra defeated BKS Bolesławiec 3–0 (3–0). The outcome was decided in the first half. After a rather nervous start, Karkonosze took the lead in the 13th minute. A few minutes later, they scored to make it 2–0. Before the players went into the break, a third goal was scored. The visitors had the advantage and handled the ball better. The difference of two divisions was visible.
In the second half, both teams’ coaches made changes. Although the game appeared more even and the players from Bolesławiec put up a fight, they were unable to pose an effective threat to the visitors’ goal. The match ended with a 3–0 victory for the third-tier side. Karkonosze’s goals were scored by: Kamil Młodziński, Mateusz Czerwiński and Mateusz Baszak. The third-tier side advanced to the next round of the cup competition.

The match drew a sizeable crowd and a substantial police presence. Fifteen minutes before the end of the first half, a group of several dozen visiting supporters appeared in the closed stand.
The visiting and home supporters exchanged offensive and obscene chants. At one point, there was also an attempt to force entry into the stadium from Piastów Street.
The police intervened and ordered the visiting supporters to leave the stadium. The home supporters were also ordered to leave the stand behind the goal. The visiting fans were escorted by police outside the city limits and did not watch the second half of the match. In total, they saw approximately 15 minutes of the entire game.
