According to data from the PAP Local Government Service (as of September 21), the urban municipality of Bolesławiec (49.3%), together with the urban municipality of Dzierżoniów (48.5%), took the lowest positions in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in terms of the percentage of people vaccinated against COVID-19 among medium-sized municipalities.
The top positions in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship were taken by: the rural municipality of Długołęka (56.6%), the urban municipality of Oleśnica (54.2%), and the urban municipality of Oława (54.1%).
The top three in Poland, in the category of large and medium-sized municipalities:
- Piaseczno (urban-rural), 63.2% vaccinated, (Masovian Voivodeship, Piaseczno County).
- Luboń (urban), 61.6% vaccinated, (Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poznań County).
- Pruszków (urban), 60.7% vaccinated, (Masovian Voivodeship, Pruszków County).

As part of the Most Resilient Municipality competition accompanying the National Vaccination Programme, in addition to the general competition, with a prize of PLN 2 million for the municipality with the highest percentage of vaccinated residents in Poland, prizes of PLN 1 million each were предусмотрed for the three best medium-sized municipalities nationwide (with populations of 30,000 to 100,000), as well as one prize of the same amount for the large municipality with the highest vaccination rate (over 100,000 residents).
