BKS Bolesławiec’s first team brought three points back from Mirsk! Coach Sebastian Tylutki’s side defeated Włókniarz Mirsk 1–0 (0–0) on Saturday (18 September). The winning goal was scored by Jakub Kowalonek.

Saturday’s match, played in the rain, was difficult for our boys. Despite having the optical advantage, we were unable to impose our style on the opponent. The game was scrappy, but we had our chances. Nevertheless, the score remained goalless until half-time, and there were concerns about the final result. Fortunately, the second half was better on our part, and the culmination was a goal in the 65th minute. Krzysztof Dmuchowski then produced an excellent long-range pass, and Jakub Kowalonek converted the one-on-one chance into a goal.

The conceded goal spurred Włókniarz Mirsk into action. The ambitious hosts set about making up the deficit, and there were several dangerous moments in front of Dawid Kizyma’s goal. However, the goalkeeper and defence performed well, ensuring that we kept another clean sheet and returned to Bolesławiec with three points.

BKS Bolesławiec will play its next match at home against Hutnik Pieńsk (25 September, 4:00 p.m.).
