In their competition entries, participants should answer the following questions: What individualizes and distinguishes us, and what unites us with the European Community? Does the mutual interpenetration of cultures support the preservation and cultivation of our traditions, or does it pose a threat to them?
Anyone aged 14 or over may participate in the competition by sending an entry to the address provided below by the specified deadline, together with a legible signature and address, as well as consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the competition.
Entries should be sent by 31 January 2005 to: Lidia Geringer de Oedenberg – Member of the European Parliament, Rynek 7, Pasaż Pod Błękitnym Słońcem, 50-106 Wrocław.
The competition results will be announced in February 2005. The prize is a visit to the European Parliament. In addition, the most interesting entries will be published in the quarterly magazine "Nasz Głos w Europie" and on the websites of Lidia Geringer de Oedenberg, Member of the European Parliament from the Polish Delegation of the PES Group.
People whose entries receive prizes will be notified by telephone or letter. The list of all competition winners will be published on the organizer’s website. The competition rules are available at www.lgeringer.pl/konkursy.htm.
