– Seven decisions requiring Ukrainian citizens to leave Poland were issued yesterday by the Commander of the Zgorzelec Border Guard Post, reports Major of the Border Guard Joanna Konieczniak, press spokesperson for the Nadodrze Border Guard Unit. – The decisions were a consequence of illegal employment uncovered by inspectors from the National Labour Inspectorate.

During an inspection of the employment of foreign nationals at a construction site in Bolesławiec, it turned out that the Ukrainians, aged 28–51, were working for a construction company without the appropriate permit.

Spokesperson:

The foreign nationals must leave Poland within 20 days. They will be able to return after one year.

She adds:

The unreliable employer will also face consequences for entrusting work in violation of the law. The employer may be fined up to PLN 30,000.
