– During routine inspections on the A4 motorway, the Lower Silesian KAS stopped a shipment of almost 15 tonnes of used clothing – reports Sebastian Polański from the National Revenue Administration. – The Polish recipient of the goods did not have a permit to process the waste and could neither recover it nor dispose of it in accordance with Community regulations.
He adds:
The driver was fined. The carrier faces a penalty of PLN 13,000, while the recipient could be fined up to PLN 500,000.
