Their aim is to increase road safety and improve the comfort of road users. Every year, thanks to funds obtained by Bolesławiec County and with contributions from municipal budgets, the successive reconstruction and modernization of county roads is possible. It is obvious that traffic disruptions occur while construction work is underway; however, we believe that county residents and visitors are showing understanding and that soon everyone will be able to use the new road surfaces freely, both on carriageways and pavements. Below, we present brief descriptions of the road investments currently underway, together with photographs showing the progress of the construction work.
1. Construction of a cycle path on Jeleniogórska Street, by Leśny Potok, in Bolesławiec
The construction work involves the reconstruction of a county road, namely the construction of a cycle path on Jeleniogórska Street and along voivodeship road no. 297 in Bolesławiec. The section being reconstructed is approximately 285 m long. The value of the contract is PLN 216,825.14, and the investment will be co-financed by the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
2. Reconstruction of county road no. 2291D on the Wartowice–Łaziska section
The construction work involves the reconstruction of county road no. 2291D on the Wartowice–Łaziska section, approximately 1 km long in total. The reconstruction includes widening the road and constructing a new carriageway surface and new entrances. The value of the contract is PLN 431,933.57, and the investment will be co-financed by the Municipality of Warta Bolesławiecka.
3. Construction of a pavement in Różyniec
The construction work involves the reconstruction of county road no. 2270D in Różyniec, including the construction of a pavement. The section being reconstructed is approximately 650 m long. The value of the contract is PLN 364,064.26, and the investment will be co-financed by the Municipality of Gromadka.
4. Reconstruction of the intersection of Lubańska Street and Śluzowa Street in Bolesławiec
The construction work is intended to improve road safety by raising the intersection surface at the junction of Lubańska Street and Śluzowa Street in Bolesławiec, on county roads nos. 2273D and 2312D. The reconstruction also includes constructing new pavements and curbside drainage channels. The value of the contract is PLN 191,866.22, and the investment will be co-financed by the Government Local Investment Fund and the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
