A guest on RMF FM radio was Waldemar Kraska, deputy head of the Ministry of Health. The politician spoke, among other things, about the approaching fourth wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Asked when employers would be given the opportunity to check whether an employee had been vaccinated, the deputy minister replied:
This really needs to be done by statute. The bill has been prepared at the ministry. We want this bill to be placed on the agenda at the next sitting of the Sejm.
Czy pracodawcy powinni mieć taką możliwość?
He added:
We want employers to obtain this opportunity. It seems to me that all employers should receive it, so that they can know which employees are vaccinated and which are not. This would allow them, if necessary, to move those who are not vaccinated—for their safety—to places where contact with people working at the given facility would be as limited as possible. This is also for their safety.
