On Wednesday (4 August), BKS II Bolesławiec played its first friendly match of the summer. Bolesławiec’s team lost 1:3 (0:1) away to the local KS side in Stare Jaroszowice. Completing the squad that coach Adrian Kulesza will have at his disposal is still under way, so we will have to wait before drawing any specific conclusions. Nevertheless, despite the rain, Wednesday’s match was fast-paced and enjoyable.
The hosts led 1:0 at half-time after a successful penalty. It is worth adding that during this period BKS goalkeeper Dawid Kizyma saved one penalty taken by KS Stare Jaroszowice. After the break, Jakub Kwoczka scored with a fine free-kick to make it 1:1. Towards the end of the match, the hosts managed to tip the balance in their favour and put the ball into our net twice.
During this period, Sebastian Tylutki failed to convert a penalty into a goal—the ball hit the hosts’ goalpost. Ultimately, the match ended in a 3:1 victory for Stare Jaroszowice. Our second team will play its next friendly away on Sunday, against GKS Tomaszów Bolesławiecki.
