As we read on rp.pl:

President Andrzej Duda signed the regulation on raises for parliamentarians and people holding senior state positions on Friday. It was published in the Journal of Laws later that same evening.

Who will earn the most?

According to „Rzeczpospolita”, from August 1 the salaries of the Speakers of the Sejm and Senate amount to PLN 20.5 thousand (an increase of 75%). The same amount will be earned by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki (a 40-percent raise).

Who else received a 40-percent raise?

The following officials received such raises:

  • ministers,
  • the presidents of the Institute of National Remembrance, the Supreme Audit Office and the National Broadcasting Council.

Who received a 60-percent raise?

Rp.pl:

Salaries for deputy ministers were increased by 60 percent—they previously earned approximately PLN 10 thousand, and will now receive PLN 16 thousand. Members of the Sejm and Senate also received a raise of the same amount (from PLN 10.5 thousand to PLN 15.3 thousand, including the allowance).

That is not all, however. Many more people will earn more money. (Details on the „Rzeczpospolita” website).
