On July 26, at around 7:00 p.m., torrential rain fell. It caused sewer manholes to overflow, basements to flood and homes to be inundated. Fortunately, the wind was not strong enough to break trees.
Firefighters intervened, among other places, at the retention reservoir in Dobra. In Suszki, a home was flooded, and the rain caused earth to slide onto the road. Firefighters also intervened in Parzyce, Gierałtów, Nowogrodziec and Bolesławice, as well as on gen. J. Bema, Staszica, Tulipanowa and Lipowa streets in Bolesławiec.
