Support alone is not enough—help from someone with the necessary knowledge and qualifications is needed. Every patient who gives birth at our hospital can, in addition to the standard lactation advice provided by a midwife, consult a certified lactation consultant.
It adds:
As we do not yet have a lactation clinic and are unable to provide consultations for everyone interested, while demand is high, we are currently collecting information on the level of interest in lactation consultations in order to meet these needs.
