The head of the Ministry of Health, Adam Niedzielski, was a guest on the “Sedno Sprawy” programme on Radio Plus. Among other things, the official spoke about the fourth wave of the coronavirus. (According to the head of the ministry, it is expected to appear in Poland in mid-August.)
PAP quotes the minister’s words
Asked whether another lockdown awaits us, the minister replied:
Restrictions will probably be less severe, because they will no longer disrupt social and economic life to the same extent, of course, provided that the number of infections does not spiral out of control.
What about face masks?
Minister: – We will probably have to get used to wearing face masks in enclosed spaces.
What about vaccinations?
Adam Niedzielski: – We are holding various discussions and carrying out analyses. Above all, we guarantee that the conditions for getting vaccinated will definitely not change by the end of September, meaning that anyone who wants to get vaccinated will definitely be able to do so on the same terms until the end of September.
How much might it potentially cost?
The vaccination service itself costs PLN 60, the minister stressed in the interview.
