In the 24th round of the regional league, BKS defeated Hutnik Pieńsk 5–2 (3–1) at Spółdzielcza Street. BKS goals: Adrian Puzio (2), Filip Zagórski, Adrian Kulesza and Adrian Biały. The visitors scored through: Dariusz Kowal and Filip Kiełbowicz.

The visitors made an excellent start to Saturday’s match. In the very first minute, shortly after play began, Dariusz Kowal struck at the BKS goal, making it 1–0 to Hutnik. Conceding the goal spurred BKS on, and as time passed, the team gained an increasingly clear advantage.

Fifteen minutes before the break, Adrian Puzio equalised with a free kick; he happened to be celebrating his birthday that day. After the BKS player’s shot bounced, it deceived the visiting goalkeeper. A moment later, the hosts were already 2–1 ahead. Filip Zagórski scored from a difficult angle. Before the break, the same player struck at Hutnik’s goal again. Adrian Kulesza took advantage of the goalkeeper’s uncertain intervention to make it 3–1 to the hosts.

After the change of ends, fans saw three more goals. Adrian Puzio extended the lead to 4–1 from the penalty spot, giving himself, the team and the fans a second present. When it already seemed that the next goals for the home side were only a matter of time, the visitors came into their own. The score changed to 4–2 through Filip Kiełbowicz’s shot, as he precisely lobbed Jakub Walczak. Adrian Biały set the final score at 5–2 to BKS.

After Saturday’s victory, the Bolesławiec team moved up to third place in the league table. Promotion to the fourth division is still possible.
