The event will take the form of a team-based sporting competition. Participants—amateur four-person teams consisting of adult competitors—will assemble 1,500-piece jigsaw puzzles. In addition to championship titles and trophies, prizes await the winners.
The aim of the competition, which will take place on 27 February 2010 at 5:00 p.m. in the GOKiS hall in Kruszyna (Kasztanowa St. 1B), is to promote puzzle assembly as an attractive way of spending free time and to develop skills such as patience, perceptiveness and the ability to work as a team. Teams representing institutions, companies and private individuals may register.
GOKiS asks all teams interested in taking part in the marathon to register as soon as possible, as the number of places is limited. Participation can be registered:
- by telephone or fax: 075 732 14 77
- by email: gokis.boleslawiec@wp.pl or beata111124@wp.pl
- in person: at the GOKiS headquarters in Kruszyna, at Kasztanowa St. 1B, on all working days from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The event’s media patron will be the IstotneInformacje.pl portal.
