The incident occurred after 3 a.m. on the night from Saturday to Sunday on Bobrowa Street in Bolesławiec. A young man was walking with friends. At one point, he kicked a concrete fence. Unfortunately, the next panel fell and crushed his leg. His friends were unable to lift the piece of concrete (the man kicked the panel in the column where the Piramida restaurant is located; now only the lower panel and the two that fell can be seen).
The police, ambulance service and fire brigade were called to the scene. Firefighters used hydraulic equipment to lift the concrete element. The rescuers were then able to help the man. The injured man was taken to hospital.
