The collision probably occurred because the Opel driver failed to yield the right of way. While turning left from the main road, she forced the Citroën driver to yield. Provincial road 297 is blocked in both directions.
Firefighters, an emergency medical team and a police patrol are at the scene.
Police are establishing the details of the incident.

According to police findings, the Opel driver, a 72-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, forced the Citroën driver, a 31-year-old from Gmina Bolesławiec, to yield. The 72-year-old was fined.
