The department is equipped with two computed tomography scanners, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography and an X-ray densitometer used to diagnose osteoporosis. The Diagnostic Imaging Department offers a full range of examinations using the available medical equipment. Patients receive their examination results together with a report.
Modern equipment and specialized medical staff
The Diagnostic Imaging Department was established with concern for patients hospitalized in all hospital wards. However, the capacity of the modern equipment—supported by the knowledge and experience of radiologists, electroradiology technologists and nursing staff—makes it possible to provide specialized diagnostics to people who wish to undergo examinations commercially.
30% cheaper
The Zespół Opieki Zdrowotnej in Bolesławiec has introduced a new price list for commercial services provided by the department. A 30-percent discount on all examinations is currently available.
ZOZ:
Remember: an examination involving radiation is not harmless to health
Every examination using electromagnetic radiation—including those performed commercially—requires a referral from a primary care physician or a specialist.
The hospital adds:
If a clinic or private practice has an agreement with ZOZ to provide services through the Diagnostic Imaging Department, a referred patient will be served free of charge.
