Municipal officials:
It is hardly surprising that failures of street or estate lighting where we live negatively affect our sense of safety. This is particularly noticeable in the autumn and winter, when it gets dark earlier. Street-lighting failures most often occur due to severe weather, such as strong winds, storms, heavy precipitation or icing of overhead lines.
Sometimes failures occur because an element of the energy infrastructure has become worn out, or as a result of a road accident—for example, when a car hits a streetlamp or a power connection located near the road. There are also very ordinary reasons, such as a burnt-out bulb, which has a limited lifespan and must eventually be replaced.
How to report a failure?
Municipal Office:
To report a lighting failure in the Municipality and Town of Nowogrodziec, send a message providing complete information: the locality, street, number of the nearest property (pole number), and the nature of the fault (a single lamp or a series of lamps, a damaged pole, a flickering lamp or one that is completely out) to the following email addresses:
It can also be done by phone by calling: 757380695, 757380660.
