KAS:
In one place, it will be possible to quickly and conveniently handle tax matters without having to visit a tax office, post office or bank. The service is being developed in stages until September 2022. The first package of e-services will be available from 1 February 2021.
– The e-Tax Office is a major step in the digitalisation of KAS services and citizen support. It is a modern, publicly accessible communication channel between the tax office and its clients. The services provided through the platform will be adapted to the needs of different user groups, making it as easy as possible for them to settle their taxes and handle matters with KAS. Using the e-Tax Office saves time, provides security, enables convenient payments and offers easy access to information – says Minister of Finance, Funds and Regional Policy Tadeusz Kościński.
Officials:
The service is intended for taxpayers, tax remitters, attorneys, court bailiffs and notaries. As new functionalities are added, the user group will include further groups mentioned above.
– We are becoming increasingly modern. We offer more convenient and user-friendly solutions. In today’s world, the tax authorities must keep pace with technological development and clients’ expectations. We are aware of this. That is why dialogue, digitalisation and user-friendliness are the key words for the ministry I lead – adds the head of the Ministry of Finance.
– The e-Tax Office project is part of KAS’s Client at the Centre of Attention programme, which is intended to strengthen direct contact with taxpayers and simplify the handling of official matters. Our goal is to provide higher-quality service to our clients and adapt it to their needs. The digitalisation and automation of processes also save time and make work at KAS more comfortable. The e-Tax Office uses modern IT solutions and consolidates data from various KAS systems. Projects such as this are the future of administration, not only tax administration – emphasises the head of KAS Magdalena Rzeczkowska.
