This year, the Orchestra is raising funds to purchase equipment for laryngology, otolaryngology and head diagnostics. So far, Bolesławiec has received equipment from the Orchestra worth a total of PLN 1,683,389.70. A detailed description of the equipment can be found on the foundation’s website.
This year, the finale in Bolesławiec will be mainly virtual. Auctions and concerts will take place on Facebook, on the headquarters’ page. Among others, the bands DBL 59-700 and Żółta Febra will perform for the Orchestra, while Canon and Canonki, as well as the BOK–MCC oriental ensemble, will dance.
Cakes will be available for purchase at the café in the Forum cinema lobby on Sunday, January 31, while volunteers with collection cans will once again be walking the streets of Bolesławiec.
For the Orchestra, winter swimming will take place at Leśny Potok at 3:00 p.m., as every year, and there will also be a WOŚP football tournament organized by BKS. A blood donation bus will be stationed at Piłsudski Square from 9:00 a.m.
The co-organizers of the 29th WOŚP finale in Bolesławiec are the Bolesławiec City Hall and the Bolesławiecki Ośrodek Kultury.
The Orchestra’s collection cans are already available at several locations in the city: Pączkarnia, Lodziarnia Marceli and the Veritas store on Kościelna Street.
