In the 18th round of the Lower Silesian IV League, Leśnik Osiecznica lost away to Apis Jędrzychowice. The match was decided in the second half. Kornel Ciupka scored the winning goal for the hosts Kornel Ciupka.
The one-goal defeat was very painful for the team from Osiecznica. As we read on Leśnik's Facebook profile:
A very painful defeat against Apis.
Why painful... because we conceded a goal late in the match, after Leśnik had played decidedly better.
One point was the absolute minimum we should have taken from Jędrzychowice. This time, we were really not far off.
This shows the potential that lies within Leśnik Osiecznica!
Next weekend in Osiecznica, we face the Karkonosze team.
Today's defeat will translate into the will to win and fight!
We all strongly believe in that!
