The incident occurred on Thursday, October 15. At around 2:00 p.m., the driver of a truck with a trailer entered the city center, squeezed down narrow Kościelna Street between cars, and got stuck in the Market Square, near the town hall.
The driver had trouble leaving the Market Square. Only with the help of municipal police officers did the truck driver manage to reverse safely and leave central Bolesławiec.
Our cameras recorded the incident.
As Kamila Chalewicz-Pudłowska, commander of the Municipal Police in Bolesławiec, reports, municipal police officers helped the truck driver leave the Market Square.
– His destination was Kościuszki Street; however, he most likely selected Kościelna Street incorrectly in his navigation system and therefore ended up in the city center. Municipal police officers helped the driver leave the Market Square toward Sierpnia ’80 Street – explains Kamila Chalewicz-Pudłowska.
