The incident occurred on Tuesday after 10:30 p.m. on Zygmunta Augusta Street in Bolesławiec, right in front of the police headquarters. A Renault car hit a 55-year-old woman at a pedestrian crossing. Police officers arrived at the scene immediately, followed later by an ambulance crew.
The woman from Bolesławiec, suffering leg and shoulder injuries, was taken to hospital. The 21-year-old Peugeot driver, a resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, was sober.
