No warnings or fines—just help and kind treatment for people who had forgotten their masks. Everyone who needed one received a disposable mask as a gift. The president of PKS Bolesławiec also handed out masks.
“We are in a very difficult situation; we can see what is happening in the country and around the world,” said Łukasz Jaźwiec. “Our campaign is aimed at everyone who cares about the health and lives of their colleagues, friends and family. We know perfectly well that in each of our immediate surroundings there are people who are potentially more at risk of complications, and together with the Municipal Police we joined the campaign to wear masks. Regardless of our views, or whether we agree with this or not, I believe that as a society we should mobilize and not approach reality selfishly,” the president added.
The campaign was carried out during the hours when the largest number of students from the city’s schools use the PKS bus station in Bolesławiec.
