At 10:00 a.m., six groups of preschoolers from Bolesławiec arrived there—more than 120 children. Municipal officials:
A particular advantage of the “beaver” gathering was the participation of volunteers from Projekt – Plan E Bolesławiec. Thanks to the teenage environmentalists, the youngest participants could test their powers of observation with animal “memory” games, look inside a beaver’s pantry, try walking in flippers, review the rules for proper waste sorting, and build their own structures—beaver lodges—from sticks.
At the end, each participant used wooden elements to create and paint their own animal or decoration. What is more, all the groups had commemorative photographs taken.
“Welcoming autumn with beavers” was one of the tasks in the “Ecology? Naturally!” project, co-financed by the Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Wrocław.
