On the list of the 10 ugliest buildings in Poland according to noizz.pl, Hotel Piramida in Bolesławiec was included. The local building ranked fifth.

The editors of noizz.pl write:

A short distance from the Museum of Ceramics stands another symbol of the city—one we would not, however, want to boast about abroad.

Meanwhile, on the “truth detective’s” website, one can read the following bizarre statement about the pyramid in Bolesławiec:

This is not just a fascination with the culture of ancient Egypt. It is a religion. Pyramids were built for religious purposes, and no one would spend millions of złotys on such a building simply because they love Egypt.
