There have been several changes compared with the previous season. Michał Kapusz has strengthened our team’s defensive line, joining us from fourth-tier club Sokół Wielka Lipa. Michał should of course be well known to BKS supporters, as he has already played for our team. In the 2014–15 season, Michał played 29 matches in the green-and-black colors.
Dawid Kizyma is equally well known to those who attend matches on Spółdzielcza Street. In addition to training our team’s young goalkeepers, he will compete with them for a place in the starting lineup in league matches. The team’s third “new” face is Piotr Kuczyński. The 21-year-old midfielder played in BKS’s youth teams; his most recent club was fourth-tier Stal Chocianów. Piotr spent the last year recovering from an injury, but everything is now in order, and we are counting on a good performance from this talented midfielder.
BKS Bolesławiec is a club that invests in youth, so the squad has been strengthened by players promoted from the junior team: Piotr Komada, Adam Wolski, Radosław Tabor and Kamil Posadowski. Filip Bednarz and Mateusz Cieśla are returning from injuries and will compete for places in the team. Bartosz Gudzowski has returned from a loan spell, while the youngest player in the squad is 16-year-old Tomasz Hajduczek, who already showed in the regional Polish Cup final that he has enormous potential.
The combination of youth and experience should translate into positive results in the league. We are certain that our boys will give their all and that, from the very first match, we will play as we would like. We thank all the sponsors supporting our club; your help is invaluable to us.
