For most of the match, BKS Bolesławiec controlled the game and created several chances to score. Adrian Biały and Jakub Rissmann came close to finding the net, but it was not to be. Gryf moved the ball well in the middle of the pitch, but our team’s strong defensive performance prevented the hosts from creating much. We performed very well against the fourth-tier side, but the first half ended goalless.

The picture of the game changed little after the break. BKS Bolesławiec created chances, but their finishing let them down. Kamil Posadowski twice found himself one-on-one with the Gryfów goalkeeper. The Gryf player came out on top on both occasions.

Missed chances often come back to haunt you, and in the 85th minute, following a BKS error in midfield, the hosts took a 1:0 lead (goal by Michał Szramowiat). In added time, the hosts scored a second goal and ultimately won 2:0 (goal by Dawid Król). Nevertheless, we can be pleased with our players’ performance. Sebastian Tylutki’s players must work on their finishing, however, because the chances of winning were huge.

BKS Bolesławiec will play its next friendly this Saturday in Nowogrodziec against the local Chrobry.
