The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon on the route between Warta Bolesławiecka and Iwiny. After a bend, on a straight section of road, an Opel Corsa driven by a young woman overturned and went into a ditch. The girl was driving too fast and lost control of the car when she tried to avoid a fallen branch. She was travelling alone. An ambulance took her to hospital with suspected shoulder fracture. As firefighters say, and as can be seen in the photographs, if the roof had caved in further, the woman could have died at the scene.
