Since March 2020, we have been conducting our live conversation programme with exceptional guests. We discussed mental and physical safety during the pandemic with therapists Damianem Wolakiem and Grażyną Kieras, physician Arturem Nahoreckim, deputy director of the Bolesławiec hospital, as well as legal safety with attorney Wojciechem Kasprzykiem. We discussed initiatives involving the sewing of face masks with Agnieszką Zarzłą-Uchman (Bolesławiec sews for medics) and meals for medical workers with Damianem Sawczakiem.

We discussed politics during a campaign restricted by the pandemic. We hosted three presidential candidates: Szymona Hołownię, Władysława Kosiniaka-Kamysza and Roberta Biedronia, as well as politicians and campaign staff: Teacher of the Year Przemysława Staronia (Szymon Hołownia), Prof. Joannę Senyszyn (SLD), leader of the Inicjatywa Polska party Barbarę Nowacką, Deputy Minister of Education Marzenę Machałek (PiS), United Right politician Jarosława Gowina, and Civic Platform MPs Grzegorza Schetynę and Piotra Borysa.

We reported in detail on the tragedy of a family from Nowogrodziec that lost little Kacperek. In this case, we extensively covered the police investigation and the activities of the Rutkowski Bureau. We discussed the disappearance with Krzysztofem Rutkowskim and Mają Rutkowski, who worked in Nowogrodziec and helped Kacperek’s mother. We were the only ones to interview Marcelem Korkusiem, a diver from Żary who found the child’s body after 13 days of searching.

Our interviews also addressed difficult social issues. The interview about suicides in Bolesławiec County with Franciszkiem Małeckim Trzaskosiem, president of the management board of the Institute for Research and Analysis of the Activities of Local Government Units, was hugely popular. We discussed the first demonstration in Jelenia Góra in history by people of a minority sexual orientation with Przedwiośnie activist and organiser Aleksandrem Rerichem. Our guests also included LGBT activist Bart Staszewski and Naczelny Antyfacet RP Marcin Boronowski.

We also addressed educational topics. We discussed school during the pandemic and remote learning. We conducted a live conversation with Dr. Tomaszem Tokarzem, a social-competence trainer, digital-competence trainer, teacher, mediator, coach and academic lecturer.

We discussed culture and good manners with cultural studies scholar Dariuszem Uścińskim, and police officers and thieves with Łukaszem Dudzicem, owner of the Intermarché store and car wash in Bolesławiec. Our viewers were also very interested in the conversation about health with Anną Garwolińską, Director of Marketing and Development at NZOZ Provita in Bolesławiec.

After the summer break, we will return to live conversations, and we already invite interesting people, specialists, prominent politicians and social activists to join us. We invite you to our next conversations in September.
