Two people were injured in the accident—the drivers of the vehicles. The passenger-car driver was trapped in the vehicle. The man was freed after approximately 20 minutes. The injured van occupant was evacuated from the vehicle immediately after emergency services arrived.
At the site of the accident, overtaking is prohibited and there is a double solid line. The van has DLU registration plates. The passenger-car driver said that he was from Bogatynia.
