In truly English weather, the players of KS Stare Jaroszowice-Żeliszów and BKS Bolesławiec took to the field. The rainy friendly match was played on Friday (19 June) at the pitch in Stare Jaroszowice.
The match was not an exciting spectacle. There was a lot of chaos in the play, turnovers and inaccurate passes. In the 22nd minute, Filip Zagórski struck from around 30 metres at the hosts’ goal Filip Zagórski and BKS took a 1–0 lead. The hosts had chances to change the score, but Jakub Walczak performed faultlessly in the visitors’ goal.
Three more goals were scored in the second half. After an assist from Adrian Kulesza, Marek Majka made it 2–0 to BKS Marek Majka. Near the end of the match, Mateusz Mucha scored the third goal from the penalty spot Mateusz Mucha. In the closing moments, Kamil Nizioł scored a consolation goal for the hosts Kamil Nizioł. KS Stare Jaroszowice-Żeliszów – BKS Bolesławiec 1–3 (0–1).
Friday’s friendly was also the farewell match for the hosts’ coach, Maciej Sawicki, who is leaving the club from Stare Jaroszowice.
