The Member of Parliament representing the Jelenia Góra–Legnica region (Wiosna, Democratic Left Alliance) visited Bolesławiec once again. Asked about the election that was supposed to take place on Sunday, he joked that the election that did not take place ended in a draw, while the Left did not put forward anyone, making it somewhat like football poker. He seriously informed us that organizing the election requires a serious discussion.
“As the Left, on Saturday we submitted a request for a meeting to the parliamentary clubs, constitutional law experts and the National Electoral Commission, proposing that a round table be organized so that we could talk,” says Robert Obaz. “So that we could all find a solution, regardless of whether we are in the opposition or in the coalition. So that it would not happen again that Jarek and Jarek make an agreement. There will probably be no avoiding an amendment to the Electoral Code, but I am certain that, by working together, we can develop such a compromise,” the Left MP adds.
