Bait containing a vaccine will be dropped from airplanes outside built-up areas. People should not touch, pick up or destroy the bait that has been laid out.

From September 18 to 22, the following rules apply in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship:

  • a ban on hunting game with dogs
  • a ban on allowing dogs and cats to roam freely
  • an obligation to keep farm dogs tethered and cats indoors.

Any case of human contact with the laid-out vaccine must be reported to the health service, while any case of an animal coming into contact with the bait must be reported to the veterinary service. Particular caution is requested during the vaccination campaign.
