– I haven’t told Kacper’s mother this yet, but I suspect that the child’s body may have been torn apart by foxes. Foxes feeding their young now are aggressive. The animals may have dragged Kacper’s body into their den. We know that fox dens are deep; perhaps we will never find the body – says detective Maja Rutkowski. – I will talk to his mother about this today. I would give wild animals a 10% chance, and a 90% chance that the body became caught somewhere – the detective adds.
No one from the Rutkowski Bureau or the police confirms the theory that the child was kidnapped or sold. The news is worse, however—the child’s body is being sought.
All leads point to the river. Maja Rutkowski hopes to speak with Kacper’s detained father, who may be released from prison. He could reconstruct the events of April 27, the day his son disappeared, most accurately. He could also confirm exactly where the toy tractor that the child was playing with just before disappearing was found.
