On Thursday (30 April), at the intersection of Cieszkowskiego Street and Modłowa Street, the driver of a BMW hit a scooter rider. According to police findings, the car driver failed to yield the right of way to the moped rider, who was travelling correctly.
As a result of the collision, the 60-year-old Bolesławiec resident who was riding the scooter was taken to the hospital in Zgorzelec with general bruising.
Part of Cieszkowskiego Street—from the direction of Lech Kaczyński Roundabout to the intersection with Modłowa Street—was temporarily closed to traffic.
